The Batman that cares about the inmates is my favorite. He doesn’t put up with their shit, but he does try to reach out here and there and he’s as human as he can be to them.
When Harley was re-institutionalized, he got her that dress she wanted.
In the comics based on B:tAS, there was a time during Christmas that there was snow and it was Mr. Freeze’s fault, and he was making it snow because Christmas was his anniversary with Nora and she LOVED it when it snowed on Christmas, so Batman let him finish mourning before calmly taking him back to Arkham.
He never, ever gives up on Harvey possibly recovering.
Sure, Batman is going to throw punches and do what it takes to take these guys down when they’re hurting or threatening people. And he’s not going be a complete bleeding heart; he has to protect the innocent. He’s going to take them down and take them back to Arkham, but it doesn’t mean he’s incapable of being a bit human to the ones who deserve it.
Agreed. I love when they show that one of the organizations the Wayne Foundation contributes to is Arkham Asylum, for both better security measures and medical care & psychiatric treatment for the patients.
I think that the only villains Batman was shown to really hate in this show were the Joker…and there’s been several occasions where it’s basically been stated that the Joker ISN’T actually mentally ill or traumatised or any different to how he was before he became the Joker…that the whole thing is an act he does because it lets him avoid the death penalty, fuck with people and get sent to Arkham which is full of corrupt and incompetent idiots meaning he can escape again any time he wants to…and the Scarecrow who is just a vicious, depraved sadist who gets off on horrifying people and using them as lab rats…
All the villains who genuinely do have problems or became who they were because of some trauma or terrible incident in their past, Bruce has been shown to be sympathetic to in the DCAU…he even gave Arnold Wesker a job when it looked like he had overcome the influence of his ‘Scarface’ split personality…
Headcanon that after the battle of Hogwarts, George dyes his hair an outrageous colour, and at first Molly is mad, but then she hears George whisper “I kept thinking it was him in the mirror”.
Daniel Radcliffe Brushes Off ‘Fifty Shades’ Snub (x)
I appreciate the very real disgust on his face in the second gif.
i bet rob pattinson just rang him up and screamed don’t do it in the phone
I bet this phonecall happened at 2am with no greeting and Dan knew exactly who it was and why.
I bet Robert Pattinson has made it his mission in life to prevent people from taking shitty roles that will haunt them forever and everyone in Hollywood knows it and now he’s like the Acting Avenger
the Acting Avenger
There was a time in my life where I was misled into hating Kristen Stewart and I regret it every day.
One of my favourite shows:
One of my least favourite shows:
Do you see my problem
That you don’t actually like Doctor Who?
That you only like RTD-era Who and are being unnecessarily passive-aggressive toward the Moffat era in order to make your opinion seem relevant?
You are not understanding. Let me break it down for you:
Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain on the set of their new film, Crimson Peak
This looks like Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter on the set of another Tim Burton movie
Can we talk about how this Doctor no longer follows “Rule one”?
Best backstory. (x)
You know…for a second there…his head shape led me to believe he could be Phineas’s father.
remEMBER THAT PHINEAS AND FERB ARE STEP BROS (OR HALF BROS I CANT REMEMBER) I THINK PHINEAS’ REAL DAD HAS BEEN NOW FOUND
THEY ARE STEP BROS. AND CANDACE HAS THE SAME SHAPE. CHRIST. THIS SHOW.
#Hugh Laurie for God
Sorry…but can you imagine Hugh Laurie and Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and the Master?
Oh hello glorious sasswar and dynamics I can’t even imagine
the only problem is that Hugh is taller than Peter…
